My name is Will and wanted to know how to make my bunny-hops higher. Since
they are such a basic trick and I use them all the time they need to be
higher. Any suggestions?
We know its the last thing that you want to hear Will, but practice is the answer to what ails you. Work on perfecting the form you already know and try to hop up higher and higher things. For some reason it is always easier to hop up something then over something, so find walls, curbs, buildings… Whatever suits your skill level and keep working your way up. Refining details could mean things like pulling your front end a little higher before you hop, tucking your shoulders up when you pull up to get more pop, perfecting the timing of your jump so your not fighting your feet when you hop and roll your wrists forward and tucking like Greg Hill to milk every last inch. Trust us, it may not be the simple answer you were hoping for, but the last time we spoke with Brad Simms, who has crazy hops, he said he still practices every day to find ways to hop even higher.
