Bookmark and Share

Hello, My name is Joe and I was just wondering why BMX Plus! never talks about building stuff like ramps if you could help me out I am trying to build a box jump and I have alot of money saved up already and I was just wondering what to do. By the way Dave Mirra is my hero I just bought pro town Greenville and I love it shred on!
Joe

ANS- Joe, there are lots of stupid things that don’t make sense in life and you can thank lawyers for just about all of them. Why does Dan’s Comp have to say that “Complete Bikes are not intended, designed or appropriate for use by children age 12 or under” when 99% of the kids that ride them are under 12 years of age? Lawyers. Why does nearly every public skatepark have a sign that says, “No bicycles allowed”? Lawyers. Why do car commercials show a car driving down a road with subtext that reads “Professional driver, closed course, do not attempt”? Really, do not attempt to drive a car on a road! Thank you lawyers. So Joe, the reason we cant give you specifics about building a ramp, a dirt jump or even a house of cards, is because we would be potentially liable if you were to screw it up. Ironically we could tell you how to flip a ramp, but the launch is up to you. Our advice would be to check out the Ramp Plans book Dan’s Comp offers and build a way. Money well spent for sure and all the same plans we would give you but in one convenient place. But, when you are ready to trick them, be sure to return here because we have all the answers. Sorry we couldn’t be more help here Joe, but if you see a lawyer, be sure to say thanks for saving you from yourself.
