Attention dirt jumpers! Now is your chance to test your skills. The question is, do you wet your feet as an amateur, or pit your skills against the pros.

There arent too many Pro/Am dirt contests going on these days so dont miss your opportunity to get involved with this one. With big bucks and cool prizes on the line, there has never been a better time to get dirty on your BMX. We spoke briefly with Ricardo about the contest and here is what he had to say.”

“I’m excited to announce that the “Ricardo Laguna Dirt Challenge” is expanding and adding an Amateur category! On Oct. 27, I’m teaming up with Tinnell Memorial Sports Park in Lake Havasu, AZ to bring a day of entertainment, competition, music, drinks, camping and more to the community!

We’ve already confirmed that Pat “Big Daddy” Laughlin, Colton Satterfield, Josh Hult, Ben Snowden, Matthew Olsen, Jake Kinney and TJ Ellis and many more will be competing, plus Fat Tony will be announcing! Starting Oct. 1, sign ups are open online at http://lhcdirtchallenge.com where you can save money by registering in advance. Pro sign ups are $40 online, $50 at the event, and Amateurs are $10 online, $15 at the event. Check out the course layout to see the Pro and Amateur lines! There is a $5,000 Pro purse, and Amateurs will receive prizes from DK Bicycles, TSG, Sidewall and more!
