Fields and Pajon are the big winners

After a long, hard season of racing the most challenging series to ever face BMX, the United States and Colombia have come out on top. For the Elite Men, Australia's Sam Willoughby would win the battle, but the USA's Connor Fields would win the war. Connor Fields finally managed to pull together his good season with a great win in both Time Trials and the Finals, giving him the points lead over the Netherland's Van Gorkom to take the title.

In Elite Women, the crowd was pulling for the USA's Arielle Martin, who had announced her retirement just minutes before but a crash in the final turn during the main would check her out of the points chase. Battling to the line it would be Alise Post for the USA and Mariana Pajon for Colombia. Mariana found her gap and slid past Alise on the third straight and would take both the event win and the SX title as she continues to gobble up every title the BMX world has to offer.
