NEWS: X GAMES 16 Park Elimination

Check out the full results and a few rad photos from park elimination.

Park elimination went down today and we were there capturing the action for you. It was a sight to see for sure and everyone that rode put in a lot of work. It is not an easy course to ride and creativity is key. Making it to finals is one of the hardest thing some of these guys will do all year long. The X Games is the biggest contest of the year and if you want to turn heads; you do it here.

The course is more technical and line-oriented then past years and it is mostly all cement with not a single box jump. So, that is where being creative comes in. Keep plugged into bmxplusmag.com all weekend long as we will be posting more photos and results as they come for each event. In the meantime tune in to the X Games and get your watch on. Check the full schedule at the bottom of this post.

Not the easiest park course to shred on; believe us. You need to be creative and put it all on the line at the same time. Finals should be sick!

Drew rode absolutely insane…for two seconds. He had everything going for him and started off his run with what would have been one of the biggest tailwhip transfers anyone has ever seen. He came up like a foot short and blew his chances at making finals. It was a bummer because we know Drew would have murdered it!

Bohan lives for these course set-ups. His style and flow go hand in hand and make him a shoe in for a top spot. One handed flatty for the fans.

Daniel is mostly known for his whips spins and crazy combos but this lookback is as clicked as any and we were stoked to catch it.

Morgan came out of the gate hard just the same as Drew did and ended up taking it to the face and blowing up his front wheel. Hopefully Big Air will treat him better!

Nyquist sends a 360 downside whip which we don’t see out of him very often. He was looking good and you can expect big moves out of him in the finals. Gold feels good and if anyone knows that it is Nyquist.

Gary Young absolutely destroyed the course and made it happen. Qualifying first is no easy feat and we were stoked to Gary come through. His use of course is arguably the best and this fastplant transfer was rad.

All of the heavy hitters are in LA right now. It is the X Games…duh!
