Simpel Session 11 webcast live on Freecaster TV

One of worlds biggest BMX and skate contests Simpel Session will be happening tomorrow at the Saku venue and will be webcast live on this weekend, 5-6 of February, straight from Tallinn, European Capital of Culture 2011.

The webcast can be viewed directly on website opening page. The webcast will start with skateboarding qualifications at 10.30 CET on Sat 5 Feb and last throughout the day. On the day of the finals, Sun Feb 6 the webcast wil start at 11.00 CET and end around 19.00 CET with the prize ceremony. All video material of the webcast is produced by Simpel Session, signal is forwarded by and the webcast is presented by New Era.

Last year´s Simpel Session broadcast reached the record breaking 210 000 viewers in 97 countries.

Anticipated all over the world as one of the top BMX-contests, Simpel Session stands out in skateboarding like never before this year: this is the first time that Simpel Session is qualified as a World Cup sanctioned event, opening the World Cup Skateboarding 2011 World Tour. This places the results of Simpel Session side by side with Asian X-Games and European Mystic Cup rankings ( in the WCS point series.


List of skaters includes three-time X-Games gold medalist Ryan Scheckler (USA), Simpel Session 08 winner Peter Ramondetta (USA) and young talent Brandon Biebel (USA). Also, Simpel Session 09 winner Axel Cruysberghs (BEL) and many other impressive skaters will be riding the medals, which means some extraordinary strong competition on the course. In BMX, last year´s Simpel Session top three will be riding for the podium again: Drew Bezanson (CAN), Brett Banasiewicz (USA) and Ben Wallace (GBR) as well as two time Simpel Session champion Garrett Reynolds and many more. Almost entire Etnies, Vans, Red Bull and Nike European teams will be shredding the course of Simpel Session, among a total of 180 riders from 30 countries.

The event is hosted by the devoted announcers Zack “Catfish” Yankush and Dave “Double D” Duncan. The brand new and impressive Simpel Session 11 skatepark is designed by the well known and acclaimed park designer Nate Wessel, the author of many Simpel Session courses through the years. Simpel Session will be covered by the biggest extreme sports as well as several mainstream sports media, including Transworld magazines, Extreme Sports Channel, Fuel TV and ESPN. Simpel Session 11 belongs to the European Capital of Culture Tallinn 2011 programme.
